DIY Tutorial: Christmas Crackers!

Hi students!!

Christmas is just around the corner! It is time to start preparing Christmas gifts and treats. Remember: you can Do It Yourself!

Do you know about Christmas Crackers?

Christmas Crackers are a tradition in holiday celebrations in the UK and other Commonwealth countries. Christmas crackers are party favors that consists of a  cardboard tube wrapped in a brightly decorated twist of paper with a prize in the central chamber, making it resemble an oversized sweet-wrapper. The cracker is pulled by two people, which causes the cracker to split unevenly, with one person holding the centre chamber of the cracker where the prizes are contained

Here you have the steps:

1. Start with an A4 piece of paper
2. Fold the paper in half, long ways
3. Then unfold
4. Fold the paper i half the other way, top to bottom
5. Take one layer of paper and fold it up
6. Turn it over and do the same to the other side
7. Open out the folds a little and cut through the centre fold, following the creased line. Cut through two layers of paper and stop at the cross fold
8. Holding each side of the cut section, bring them down and fold along the vertical crease
